The big news this week, of course, is that Marc Webb, director of (500) Days of Summer, has been tapped to direct Spider-Man 4 in place of the departing Sam Raimi. Does this mean that Joseph Gordon-Levitt will be the new Peter Parker? We'll see.

As for new books this week, an intriguing new title is Supernatural Beginning's End, which features the CW's Sam & Dean in a prequel to the series that shows us why Sam had a rift with his father and brother in the first place. With the show heading toward the end game, these are some loose ends that could be interesting to tie up.
