Well heck...that was the holidays, huh? Sorry I'm two weeks late, but with Diamond making the ‘new release day' on Friday due to the holidays, the shops were pretty swamped with holiday gift buyers. If you're a store and you don't utilize a gift card program, then you truly miss out on extra sales that walk right out the door for people who don't know what to pick up the fanboy or fangirl in their family.

So the final part to One More Day in the Amazing Spidey storyline dropped over the holidays. Well if you followed any of the Internet reaction it was one of the worst things since, well, Ultimates 3 #1. That being said, I am looking forward to the new creative teams coming on board the new, three-times-a-month Amazing Spider-man. I just wish the reset button hadn't been set in that way. I will say as a retailer that I've yet to have any of my customers tell me they are dropping the book, so take that for what it's worth. Joe Q's panels at the conventions this year should be interesting.
