New comic series featuring The Muppets and The Incredibles hit this week. Battle for the Cowl continues with a Commissioner Gordon special. New and Mighty Avengers hit this week; hopefully, the new issue of Mighty Avengers is a vast improvement over the last one. A bunch of X-men books are in stores this week and IDW continues with more Star Trek comics. I don't know what they did last year but the Star Trek books of the last year have been a blast to read, and John Byrne has seemed to find a home at IDW. It looks like he's regained his sense of "fun" that I felt he lost over the last few years. He's doing some great work on the Star Trek books, and his Angel: Blood and Trenches book from a couple of weeks ago was excellent as well.
