Nicky Hilton pledges sister's sorority
Nicky Hilton has joined the cast of National Lampoon's Pledge This, which is toplined by her sister Paris. The film began production Monday with a cast that also includes Simon Rex, Alexis Thorpe, Randy Spelling, Sarai Howard, Paula Garces and Sarah Carter. Pledge This will be directed by William Heins from a screenplay by Cheryl Gurriero and Anna Obropta.

Simon Rex will Pledge
Simon Rex, who most recently appeared in Scary Movie 3, has signed on for a role in National Lampoon's Pledge This!, which already stars Paris Hilton. The William Heins-directed film revolves around the president of an elitist sorority at South Beach University (Hilton). She rules a group of snooty girls who are looking at various prospective pledges who are vying for their attentions. Rex will play senior frat dude Derek, Hilton's character's boyfriend who is having issues with time management (he can't quite decide whether to party, hang out with her or study). Shooting will begin this month. Cast members already onboard are Heather Chase, Paula Garces, Preston Lacy, and Sam Maccarone.

Garces joins Paris Hilton's sorority
Paula Garces, currently playing the role of "hot chick Maria" in Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle, has signed on for a role in the upcoming Paris Hilton flick Pledge This! The film will begin production in August and is the theatrical debut for music video director William Heins. Pledge This! will revolve around the exploits of Gamma Gamma Gamma sorority at the University of South Beach in Miami, which has been named hottest sorority in America by Maxim magazine. As a result, the girls get a big party to celebrate and a big spread for the magazine. The Tri-Gam president is Victoria (Hilton), who is determined to keep the sorority in her own image and take advantage of Maxim's offerings to further her own self-interests.
