Rudd and Scott are Big Brothers
Paul Rudd and Seann William Scott have both agreed to star in Big Brothers, a comedy directed by Luke Greenfield (The Girl Next Door) for Universal Pictures. The farce is about two wild and crazy beer reps who are forced to do community service and become mentors in the Big Brother program if they want to keep their jobs. Timothy Dowling wrote the screenplay, which is being marked as an R-rated comedy.

New writer hired for Big Brother
Paramount Pictures and Nick Movies have hired newcomer Cory Koller to write the screenplay for Big Brother, a movie about a 20-something man who deals with his life crisis by moving back into his parents' home. In the process, he makes his 15-year-old younger brother absolutely miserable by stealing his bedroom, parents' attention, girlfriend, and best friends. The younger brother then plots to get his brother out of the house so that he can regain his "only child" classification.

Greenfield, New Regency join forces for Big Brother
Luke Greenfield, who directed The Girl Next Door, has signed a two year first-look deal with New Regency, the company he worked with on that film. Greenfield's deal includes setting up three films to direct and produce with partners from his company, Wide Awake.
The first of these films will be Big Brother, with The Bourne Identity scripter W. Blake Herron currently in talks to write. The story will center on a selfish businessman who is forced to get involved in the Big Brother program, where he is paired with a tough teen who loathes him. When the businessman begins to teach the kid about the various immoral means he has used to get ahead in business, the two develop a twisted father/son relationship.
