Wes Anderson sets next project
Wes Anderson will work alongside Revolution Studios to adapt the Roald Dahl kids' book The Fantastic Mr. Fox to a stop-motion animated feature film. Anderson will write the screenplay with Noah Baumbach, his partner on the screenplay for The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou. It will be the first fully animated film for both Anderson and for Revolution Studios (though The Life Aquatic does have some animated underwater scenes that were created by Henry Selick).
Dahl's book centers on a crafty fox who finds himself and his family targeted for death by three dumb, ugly farmers who are sick of sharing their chickens with the sly beast.
