Chatwin is Invisible
Spyglass Entertainment has hired newcomer Margarita Levieva and Chris Marquette to star in the supernatural drama Invisible. They're also in talks with Justin Chatwin (War of the Worlds) for a major role. David S. Goyer will direct the film, which is set to be distributed by Touchstone. The movie is based on a Swedish film and will have Chatwin playing a young man who is attacked and then left for dead. Somehow, though, he winds up in limbo. He's invisible to the living and has to race against time to find his body before he dies for real. The only person who can help him is his attacker, a troubled girl (Levieva) who is on the run from the law. Marquette will play the best friend of Chatwin's character.

Disney goes Invisible
Walt Disney has purchased domestic distribution rights to director David Goyer's The Invisible and has greenlit the film for a production start in the fall. Goyer wrote the screenplay for Batman Begins and previously directed Blade: Trinity. The story is based on the Swedish supernatural film Den Osynlige and focuses on a teenager who is attacked and left for dead. At that point, he finds himself in a kind of limbo, invisible to the living and in a rush to locate his body before he actually dies. The only person who can help him, however, is the troubled young girl who attacked him.

Goyer turns Invisible
David Goyer will direct the English-language remake of the Swedish film The Invisible for DreamWorks. Mick Davis wrote the screenplay, which is a supernatural thriller about two teenagers whose real selves are invisible to other people. One of them passed away in an untimely death, rendering him literally invisible, while the other one suffers a figurative invisibility due to neglect in the aftermath of her mother's death.
