Baker and Lathan are 42.4 Percent
Focus Features has hired Simon Baker and Sanaa Lathan to star in 42.4 Percent, an interracial love story. Lathan will play an African-American professional who is fully aware that 42.4% of members of her race never get married. She's determined to find love, and falls for a white landscaper (Baker). Sanaa Himri is making her
directorial debut on the film from a screenplay by Kriss Turner.
