Running With Scissors, an adaptation of Augusten Burroughs' bestselling memoir, will begin production March 7th. Annette Bening and Gwyneth Paltrow were already set to star, and the cast will also include Brian Cox and Joseph Cross. Evan Rachel Wood and Joseph Fiennes are also in talks for roles

Bening is Running With Scissors
Annette Bening will star in Running With Scissors, an adaptation of Augusten Burroughs' bestselling memoir that recounts a childhood overseen by a bi-polar, extraordinarily selfish mother. Ryan Murphy (Nip/Tuck) will direct the film from his own screenplay. Bening replaces Julianne Moore, who was previously attached to the project.
