Valette Missed the Call
French director Eric Valette will direct One Missed Call, the English language remake of the Japanese horror film Chakushin ari. Valette previously won kudos for his stylized horror film Malefique.

Intermedia has One Missed Call
Intermedia is joining forces with Kadakowa USA to remake the Japanese horror film One Missed Call, which was directed by Takashi Miike. The original film centers on a college student who doesn't answer her cell phone because she doesn't recognize the ringtone. When she plays the voice mail message later, the time stamp is three days in the future. She recognizes her own voice as she's being killed.
