Lions Gate goes into The Descent
Lions Gate has acquired North American distribution rights to the Neil Marshall horror film The Descent. The movie is a follow up to the director's Dog Soldiers and centers on six women who go for a caving adventure and then find themselves trapped underground, hunted by a race of humanoid predators. The movie stars Shauna Macdonald, Nora-Jane Noone, Natalie Mendoza, Alex Reid and Saskia Mulder.
