Nancy Drew star is selected
Emma Roberts, daughter of Eric and niece of Julia, has signed on to play Nancy Drew in the big-screen adaptation of the teen sleuth's adventures. The movie will be an updated adaptation of the very long-running teen mystery series, which first was published in 1930 and centered on a teen detective heroine who solved mysteries with the help of her friends. The movie will be updated and will have Nancy accompanying her father on a business trip to L.A. While there, the young detective comes across some new evidence in the case of a long-ago murdered Hollywood star.
