Alda Joins the Champ
Veteran actor Alan Alda will join the cast of Resurrecting the Champ, from director Rod Lurie. Other thespians already on board include Josh Hartnett, Samuel L. Jackson, Kathryn Morris, and Rachel Nichols. The story is based on a true story about a Los Angeles reporter who stumbled upon a homeless man who once a prized boxer. But then he discovered that the man wasn't who he said he was. Alda has been recently seen on TV's The West Wing and his last film was The Aviator.
