Sims takes on pair of comedies
Former model Molly Sims (NBC's Las Vegas) landed roles in two upcoming comedies: Yes Man, starring Jim Carrey, and Pink Panther 2, starring Steve Martin. In Yes Man, Sims will play ex-wife to Carrey, who decides to say "yes" to any request that comes his way. And in Pink Panther 2, Sims will be a news anchor who follows the misadventures of Martin's Inspector Jacques Clouseau.

Writers Hired for Panther Rewrite
Columbia Pictures has hired veteran comedy writers Lowell Ganz and Babaloo Mandel (Fever Pitch; Robots) to rewrite the script for the next feature in the Pink Panther series. The duo have also provided rewrites for a number of other projects in recent years, including Hitch, 50 First Dates, National Treasure, Kangaroo Jack, and The Notebook. Scott Neustadter and Michael Weber wrote the previous draft, in which Steve Martin will again play Inspector Clouseau. Sony/Columbia is teaming with MGM to co-produce the film.

Sony To Make Panther Sequel
Sony Pictures and MGM have decided to make a sequel to their recent update of The Pink Panther, which starred Steve Martin. They have set Scott Neustadter and Michael M. Weber to write the script. No plot is known at this time, but Martin will reprise his role as bumbling detective Inspector Jacques Clouseau.
