Bondurant's unreleased novel to be adapted by Columbia
Columbia will make the journey to The Wettest County in the World, and already attached John Hillcoat (The Proposition) to direct. Based on an upcoming novel by Matt Bondurant, the story is about the author's grandfather and two granduncles who made up a criminal gang in the American South. They were eventually shot in December 1930 for refusing to join an illegal cartel.
