Marvel taps Runaways as next big screen adaptation
Marvel has plans to next adapt Runaways for the big screen. Lost writer and co-creator of the comic series, Brian K. Vaughan, will handle the adaptation. The comic, which launched in 2002 and won a Harvey Award for best series in 2006, is about a group of teenagers who find out their parents are super-villains. Marvel already has projects lined up through 2011, so Runaways will remain in the incubation stage for some time.
