Cop drama becomes Sundance's first pick up
Antoine Fuqua's cop drama Brooklyn's Finest became The Sundance Film Festival's first major deal. Senator Distribution, in a partnership with Sony Pictures, nabbed the rights to the pic. Brookyln's Finest stars Richard Gere, Ethan Hawke and Don Cheadle as three cops facing moral dilemmas at different stages of their lives.
