Jason's back (again)
No surprise here. Based on Friday the 13th's huge opening weekend, New Line and Platinum Dunes are moving forward with a follow-up to Friday the 13th. The new movie, which could be ready as early as 2010, will not be a sequel so much as a follow-up. Producers are said to be interested in using the original franchise as a jumping-off point rather than as a template.
