Think of this film as Michael Moore meets The Jerky Boys. This group of prankster/activists takes on the World Trade Organization.
The Yes Men are known for being a good fake of representatives of the WTO. They have a Web site that looks legitimate, they have issued "official" press releases (including one that said the WTO was disbanding because they were going to reorganize to help the poor), and they accept invitations from groups that want to hear speakers from the WTO.
This documentary is a "day in the life" sort of film from the award-winning team from the 1999 film, American Movie. The filmmakers follow The Yes Men around as they set out to shock people around the world. They end up talking about all of the bad aspects of global free trade much to the dismay of their audiences.
