This horror-lite film is based on a novel by Annette Curtis Klause, writer of a variety of Young Adult novels. The story centers on a teenage girl who just happens to be a werewolf. All of her life, she's been trying to keep her lycanthropic nature a secret, and so far she has been successful. All of that threatens to change when she falls in love with a normal boy, and she must choose between her family and her love interest or risk exposing her hidden nature.
The screenplay for the film was written by Ehren Kruger, who has a resume in the horror field with movies like Scream 3, The Ring and The Skeleton Key. Agnes Bruckner, also old hat at the terror game (The Woods, Venom) stars alongside Hugh Dancy (the prince from Ella Enchanted). (Kim Hollis/BOP)
