You know, it's really an embarrassingly cute film. |

Well-intended saccharine is much better than recent Pooh outings. |
Something strange is out there in the woods. The residents are hearing freaking noises and see that the trees are shaking. Whatever it is, it's extremely mysterious and frankly, altogether terrifying.
No, we're not talking about M. Night Shyamlan's The Village. Instead, this movie is about something very different. The denizen's of the A.A. Milne-created Hundred Acre Wood know that something weird is out there. Pooh, Piglet, Tigger and Roo all tell Rabbit about the eerie, creepy sounds they have been hearing. The ever-wise Rabbit knows exactly what they're talking about, and says, "'There is only one known thing that could do that: a Heffalump."
Of course, nobody quite knows what a Heffalump is, but it sounds pretty scary. Surely something that shakes so loudly and wants to keep itself hidden can't have good intentions, can it? Naturally, it's up to our intrepid heroes to work it out. Will Piglet prove again that "even the smallest pig can be a hero?" Or will Tigger and Roo be the detectives who unravel the mystery? Will Pooh ever get his nose out of the honey jar? These questions and more will be answered in The Heffalump Movie. (Kim Hollis/BOP)
