Bauer Martinez will distribute this drama set in South Central Los Angeles. The story follows an unemployed job seeker named Mike Alvarez (Freddy Rodriguez) and his friend Jim David (Christian Bale). Jim has just been hired by the DEA to do a certain amount of dirty work in Columbia.
Both guys are basically screw-ups, and have a little time on their hands before Jim is to go to Columbia for his job. So they decide to raise a little hell as they spend a few days driving around Los Angeles. Trouble catches up to them, though, and their good times become Harsh Times. (Kim Hollis/BOP)
