Tim Allen headlines an eclectic ensemble cast in the Barry Sonnenfeld-directed crime and comedy caper, Big Trouble. The lives of guys and gals, both good and bad, are transformed as the story revolves around a bomb-filled suitcase.

Allen and Sonnenfeld have each had their share of comedic hits and misses at the box office. Initially scheduled for a summer 2001 release date, Touchstone studios pushed back the film's debut to September 21st, perhaps to avoid any Big Trouble of their own in challenging the summer blockbusters, and to help insure that the bomb remains within the storyline suitcase, instead of arriving as a dud at the box office in the midst of a crowded opening weekend.
