There are some great creepy moments in the first half, but the story kills itself in the second half. |
Two college students, heading home for the holidays, break down on a deserted stretch of highway and are terrorized by the malevolent spirits of those who have perished in the unpopulated area in the past.
This supernatural road movie is produced by George Clooney and Steven Soderbergh’s soon to be defunct production company, Section Eight. Section Eight was responsible for many of Clooney's featured projects such as Good Night, and Good Luck, Syriana and the Ocean's Trilogy as well as other pictures like Rumor Has It and Confessions of a Dangerous Mind.
The movie will star Emily Blunt and Ashton Holmes. Blunt, the British-born actress is best known to American audiences for her recent scene stealing performance in ‘The Devil Wears Prada’. Holmes is best known for TV work as well as co-starring in A History of Violence. (D. James Ruccio/BOP)
