Nothing you haven't seen many times before, but fairly entertaining. |

She is now carrying his child. It is the magic of the dance. It's sad when a 60 second Simpsons bit is better than a feature length movie. |
No, this isn't Save the Last Dance 2, Electric Boogaloo though it does seem to borrow a bit from the hit movie from 2001. When perpetual troublemaker Tyler is sentenced to community service, he is assigned to work at The Maryland School of the Arts. Coincidentally Nora, a student at the school, is in need of a new dance partner. I think you can see where this is going. Tyler's streetwise dancing combines with Nora's classical training both on and off the dance floor as their connection grows, and Tyler learns discipline while Nora learns to loosen up.
It is a tried and true formula, and Step Up looks to take advantage of the formula with appealing leads, kickin' soundtrack, and fun dance sequences. It will appeal to teens and will be another step towards stardom for Tatum and Dewan. (Dan Krovich/BOP)
