Stuart Little (1999) was a big hit with audiences. You just knew the studio was going to do a sequel.

There's very little information available about this film. The only footage we've seen of Stuart is him flying in a model airplane. And it's rumored that he may fall in love with a bird named Margalo, voiced by Melanie Griffith.

Most of the original cast has been re-signed for the sequel, including Michael J. Fox as the voice of Stuart; the Little family, Geena Davis, Hugh Laurie, and Jonathan Lipnicki; and Nathan Lane as the voice of Snowbell the cat. Christopher Walken is a recent addition to the cast. He will be the voice of Falcon, a sharp-beaked villain that takes aim at Stuart and his friends.

From a technical standpoint, the first film did an excellent job mixing the real world with CGI characters; however, many critics were disappointed with the storyline and the acting efforts of the human characters. But keep in mind that the film was designed for a younger audience and they didn't seem to mind at all, as shown by the box-office receipts. (Marty Doskins/BOP)
