A bunch of big talking old losers in the desert killing each other. Why should I care? At least give me a character I'll think is cool or something. Okay, thanks for the boobs at least. |
Michael Madsen will collaborate with fellow Kill Bill Vol. 2 star Larry Bishop (he played the foul-mouthed owner of the strip club where Madsen's character worked) to star in a grindhouse biker flick called Hell Ride. Bishop actually starred in a number of '60s and '70s biker flicks, including The Savage Seven, Chrome and Hot Leather and Angel Unchained. In addition to co-producing, Bishop will also handle directing/screenwriting duties.
Hell Ride will follow three characters - Pistolero (Bishop), Comanche (Eric Balfour) and The Gent (Madsen) and the deadly unfinished business that they have between them. Some sources have compared the project to From Dusk Till Dawn. It's also a bit of a throwback to the spaghetti westerns of Sergio Leone, with a touch of something more current thrown in.
