Prepared to be extremely disapointed if you were expecting a thriller or horror movie. But, it's not bad as a creepy psychological drama. |

The crazy makes sense, but it doesn't mean this is a movie you want to watch. |
You know what Ashley Judd is great at? Starring in movies about women who are tormented by oppressive men. Typecast after Kiss the Girls, the University of Kentucky fan then went on to star in such similar fare as Eye of the Beholder, Double Jeopardy, High Crimes and Twisted.
Now, Judd will star in this drama about a paranoid, off-kilter war veteran who sees insects everywhere. He holes up with a lonely woman (presumably Judd) in a spooky motel room in Oklahoma.
The film is being directed by William Friedkin, who is best known for directing the classic horror film The Exorcist. He's also the helmer behind such stuff as To Live and Die in L.A., Rules of Engagement and The Hunted, so his record is up and down at best. Look for Bug to fall in line with previous Judd films in the same sort of genre. (Kim Hollis/BOP)
