Happily N'Ever After
Release Date:
January 5, 2007
Happily N'Ever After is inspired by the beloved story of Cinderella, giving it an animated, satirical bent. The story is set in Fairy Tale Land, where the ever precarious balance between good and evil has been thrown off kilter. It seems that Cinderella's power-hungry stepmother, Frieda, has formed an alliance of evil in order to take on her adversaries. Cinderella, whose own ongoing fairy tale has its own complications, must drop everything and attempt to defeat her evil stepmother - but without the assistance of her Price Charming.
A number of familiar voices will be present for this movie that appears to follow in the footsteps of Shrek and Hoodwinked. Sarah Michelle Gellar, her husband Freddie Prinze Jr., Sigourney Weaver, George Carlin, Andy Dick, Patrick Warburton and Wallace Shawn (The Incredibles) are all onboard. Happily N'Ever After should offer up some generally harmless family fare in the bleak midwinter. (Kim Hollis/BOP)
