Though it starts out as schlock, this movie unfolds nicely and it really surprised me how much I cared about these characters |

I can't figure out why someone thought Renee Zellweger would be perfect for this role. I like Harry Connick as an actor, though. Hopefully he can find a much better movie next time. |

Not as bad as the reviews make it out to be, this is simply an easy listening style romantic comedy. |
Renee Zellweger and Harry Connick Jr. will star in the Universal comedy Chilled in Miami. Zellweger is Lucy, a Miami-based, high-powered businesswoman who loves the life by the beach. Her life is turned upside down when she's sent to a small Minnesota town and must re-adjust. Expect the typical fish-out-of-water gags to continue.
Connick is the union leader of the factory she's instructed to shut down, and obvious romantic interest. Co-stars include BOP-fave Nathan Fillion, Rashida Jones, and Frances Conroy.
Zellweger has been very hit and miss in romantic comedies, with fewer hits (Bridget Jones' Diary) than misses (pretty much everything else). While this could certainly surprise us, based on past history, we're figuring that the former Best Supporting Actress winner will add another miss to that side of the ledger when this one is released.
