Based on the popular New Age novel by James Redfield, tells the story of a disillusioned, aimless man named John Woodson. Thanks to a strange, mysterious group of coincidences, he somehow finds himself on a Peruvian adventure. While there, he'll be searching for some ancient scrolls known as the Celestine Prophecy. This prophecy has nine key components:
1. Becoming aware of the "coincidences" in life 2. Experiencing a heightened understanding of world history and evolution 3. Being aware that all living things have "energy fields" 4. Being aware that conflict is created when people try to steal the energy of others 5. Understanding that "control dramas" do not help oneself or others 6. Being aware that one has a dream and/or destiny to fulfill 7. Being aware that many thoughts and actions are guided by "something else" 8. Understanding that other people sometimes provide the answers we seek 9. Realizing that humankind is on a journey toward peace, leading to harmony with all people and nature that will result in a new Eden on Earth.
As Woodson continues on his adventure, his is at first skeptical and resistant to what he has found. However, with each new person he encounters, he becomes newly awakened as he begins to realize that if he can let go, he can discover his destiny. (Kim Hollis/BOP)
