The ritual of celebrating All Hallows Eve descended from pagan tradition designed to protect those of us amongst the living against the mischievous evil of the dead. One small town is about to learn the frightening lesson that these traditions are best not forgotten.
The film features an interesting plot device in that there will be four interwoven stories. A lonely hermit gets an unexpected visitor. A suburban couple finds out just how dangerous it is to blow out a Jack-O-Lantern before midnight. A group of pranksters revel in the night’s mischief, discovering the horrifying truth about a local legend, and four women battle a costumed stalker. It also reportedly features a werewolf girl? We at BOP wonder if there’s ever been a female werewolf in movie history.
The movie features Brian Cox, (Braveheart, X-Men II, Troy) and Anna Paquin, (The Piano, The X-Men trilogy). (D. James Ruccio/BOP)
