Not one, but TWO 'N Sync members are in this film. But without any other "big-name" actors or actresses, can they bring this movie to box-office success on their own? That remains to be seen.
The story is about an advertising employee (Lance Bass) who meets the girl of his dreams on the El, but doesn't remember to get her phone number. As you can guess, he and his friends spend the rest of the movie trying to find her.
Miramax has tried to get this release to theaters while 'N Sync's latest album, Celebrity, is still hot on the music charts. They're hoping that the fans will help bring box-office success to the film.
I have serious doubts about how well this film will be received. There have been mentions on Entertainment Tonight and on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. However, unless they get some serious advertising behind it, I don't know how wide the film's reach will be. (Marty Doskins/BOP)
