This documentary takes an incredible look at the world of surfing and those brave guys and girls that take on waves around the world. We get an inside look at what it means to be a surfer. There are many reasons why these people are involved in this sport - some call it a lifestyle. There are those who do it as a hobby, those who do it as a profession, and those who do it as a way of life.
People who have seen this film say that it is for surfers and non-surfers alike. There have been comparisons made to Dogtown and Z-Boys with the way the filmmakers have gotten into the lives of the people.
The film was first shown at the 2003 No Dance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. It will initially open in NY, LA, and surf towns like Honolulu and Newport Beach. From there, the plan is to take the film nationwide at select theaters. (Marty Doskins/BOP)
