I liked their relationship at the beginning, but the rest falls into generic hijinks territory. |

Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon star in Four Christmases, this year's holiday themed romantic comedy, set for release at Thanksgiving.
Vaughn and Witherspoon are a happy couple, but when both their parents divorce and marry other people, they're expected to visit each of them on Christmas Day, thus having four Christmases. When I was 12, this would have been awesome (four times the presents!!!!), but now expect hilarity and aggravtion to ensue en masse. Can't people plan these things properly?
Also starring are Mary Steenburgen, Robert Duvall, Jon Favreau, Sissy Spacek, Tim McGraw and the pocket-sized Kristin Chenoweth. This will be Vaughn's second straight year with a holiday-themed film (after Fred Claus) and Four Christmases will be the highest profile release for Witherspoon since winning Best Actress for Walk the Line.
As long as they're not horrifically bad (or released in October), Christmas films tend to be safe bets at the box office, and we expect Four Christmases to be no different. (Tim Briody/BOP)
